Douglas earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from the University of New Mexico, followed by both a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of Arizona.

With over 25 years of experience spanning multifamily housing, commercial design, tenant improvements, and custom luxury single-family residences, Jonathan serves as the catalyst for innovation and excellence within the studio.
His diverse expertise enables him to oversee every facet of DPA Design Studio’s projects, from strategic planning and workflow management to the integration of BIM standards and client business development. Jonathan’s leadership is characterized by unwavering integrity, which not only guides his mentorship of staff but also fosters strong, trust-based relationships with clients and business partners alike.
With over 15 years of experience in the architectural industry, Marco is an invaluable asset to the team. As a project manager, he leads the design team and is responsible for the development of projects from concept to Construction Administration. Marco has a keen eye for detail with an extensive background in single-family and multi-family residential architecture.
As a recent graduate from Cal Poly Pomona and experience at a residential firm in Los Angeles, Shion has dependable groundwork as an architectural designer. He is passionate about creating lasting spaces and he brings a fresh perspective for architectural design. Shion has become an integral part of the design team by leading conceptual development and supporting all phases of project designs.
During her education at Cal Poly Pomona, Jenessa interned at DPA and has developed into an established architectural designer. She currently supports our project managers from Schematic Design through Construction Documentation and her skills in visual documentation have become an irreplaceable addition to our design process. Jenessa also assists the firm in marketing development with her trained eye for graphic design, making her a vital part of the DPA design team.
