Goldenwest Huntington Beach Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility will meet the city’s growing social need, while its craftsman style of architecture will improve aesthetics of public views along the city street. The facility will follow the existing slope of the land by tapering from three stories to one.
Unencumbered access to the outdoors is an active part of the circulation and wayfinding system inherent to the design. Space planning intentionally offers access to an inviting outdoor garden plaza. The garden and perimeter is designed to provide residents with a rich sensory experience such that they do not sense that a secure perimeter keeps them contained.
