The health center at La Vida Llena is based on the culture change movement and the neighborhood model. The project is a major remodel and repositioning of an aging and occupied care center.
The architectural language of the building is designed in the traditional New Mexico pueblo style. Three levels of care are featured in the building: memory care, assisted living, and skilled nursing with a new outpatient rehabilitation therapy space.
Multiple dining venues in the health center give residents a variety of spaces to relax and enjoy their meal. The main common spaces of the building are located in the south area of the building where all three levels of care meet. Large common spaces such as an art studio, great room, dining room and kitchen are easily accessible to all residents.
